Mantle is a workflow and process management system that
brings control to data integration and significantly reduces the
overhead of deploying and managing interfaces developed in DataMirror
Constellar Hub, DataMirror Transformation Server and DataMirror DB/XML.
Interoperability of data integration components in the information
enterprise is further enhanced through support for a Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA). The Mantle Server provides
for the definition of workflows containing a network of tasks that
execute in a pre-determined sequence and are subject to a series of
inter-dependant conditions and rules, defined within a metadata
repository.
Process execution is controlled by a multi-threaded
executive whose features include the automatic restart of workflows from
the nearest point of failure using a task checkpoint recording facility
and the prevention of data or application contention across active
